Training with distinction - for the fifth time in a row!

For the fifth time in a row, we are delighted to have been awarded the title of “Excellent Training Company” - an achievement that makes us particularly proud. Produce and protect the climate? - Of course you can!

Sustainability and, above all, climate protection are becoming increasingly important every day. As a manufacturing company, we inevitably emit CO₂ emissions, as it is not yet possible to produce completely CO₂-free. We have therefore decided to make a contribution to protecting our climate. Together with our partner Planted, we are now offsetting the emissions for Scope 1 and 2 from the previous year. CO₂ offsetting means that you offset the amount you produce yourself elsewhere. This can be done, for example, by investing in projects that bind CO₂, such as reforestation or promoting renewable energies.


What have we decided to do?

We are supporting a United Nations hydropower project. More specifically, in the DakrLap district in the central highlands of Vietnam. We know that offsetting cannot, of course, replace our work on reduction. We are therefore continuing to work on issues such as the roll-out of “Green Shop Floor Management” and the conversion of our vehicle fleet to e-vehicles.

Alexander Burgbacher leaves the company

After 16 years, Alexander Burgbacher (pictured right) left our company on April 30 at his own request to enter his well-deserved retirement. As Managing Director of Insta GmbH for many years, he played a key role in shaping the strategic direction and continuous growth of the company. His ability to master entrepreneurial challenges with prudence, as well as his reliability and commitment, made him a valued partner - both internally and externally. The management of the company is now in the hands of Alfred Vrieling, who has already managed the company together with Alexander Burgbacher for two years. This ensures continuity in management.

The entire Insta GmbH team would like to thank Alexander Burgbacher for his many years of service and wish him all the best for the new phase of his life.

Insta protects forest areas

At Insta, we recognized the importance of a sustainable corporate strategy years ago and have already reforested around 5 hectares of forest on site since 2021, which had been destroyed by climate change and bark beetle infestation.

Case study: From table chaos to automated CSRD solution

Sustainability needs structure. At Insta, we recognized early on that sustainability must be a central component of our corporate strategy. With the introduction of the Supply Chain Sustainability Obligations Act and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, we, like many companies, were faced with complex requirements that went beyond Excel and manual processes. That's why we chose Planted as our partner, who convinced us with the help of intuitive software and individual expert support.

In future, we will implement our sustainability goals in an efficient and structured manner - from improving our EcoVadis ranking to opening up new markets. Because for us, sustainability is not a one-off project, but a continuous process.

Insta again receives bronze in the ECOVADIS rating

As part of the ECOVADIS sustainability rating, Insta's approach to sustainability was once again evaluated. Specifically, our transparency and our measures were evaluated, weighted and compared with the benchmark.

This also places a high priority on topics such as the prevention of child labor and environmental protection.

We have improved significantly in all survey areas compared to the last rating. On the one hand, this is due to our supplier management and, on the other, we were able to answer many questions with official evidence in our sustainability report.

We are proud to have received the bronze medal for the second time in a row. We are only a few points away from the silver medal. We feel all the more inspired for next year's rating!
