Apprenticeship mechatronics technician (m/f/d)
what you can look forward to
During the three-year apprenticeship, you will learn how to build complex mechatronic systems and machines for industrial production using mechanical, electrical, and electronic components and assemblies. As part of your one-year basic training in the training workshop of the SIHK (Südwestfälische Industrie- und Handelskammer: Chamber of Industry and Commerce), you will also learn tasks such as testing and measuring voltage in electrical circuits and maintaining and repairing machinery.

We achieve optimised coordination between the training workshop, the training company and the vocational school by providing training at the BKT Lüdenscheid.
In your first year of apprenticeship, you will primarily be at the IHK training workshop in Lüdenscheid to learn the fundamentals. In the second and third year, you will actively support us in the company while attending the Berufskolleg für Technik in Lüdenscheid twice a week.
The training usually lasts three and a half years. If you perform well during the training, it can of course be shortened.

We offer the following combined degree programmes in combination with the apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d):
- Electrical Engineering (B.Eng.) at the University of Applied Sciences Südwestfalen in Hagen
In this degree programme you will deal with all processes that generate or transmit electricity. You will be taught mathematical and scientific basics and the fundamentals of electrical engineering and computer science. During your studies you will encounter subjects such as mathematics, physics, computer science, programming languages, technical English, business administration, energy generation and many more.
- Industrial Engineering (B.Sc.) at the University of Applied Sciences Südwestfalen in Hagen.
In this degree programme, the technical and scientific aspects of engineering are combined with the economic and legal aspects of economics. Here you focus on mechanical or electrical engineering.
