Halogen-free Products
Our goal: electronic products that are powerful, reliable and as environmentally friendly as possible. A central element of our responsibility is therefore to make our products increasingly halogen-free. Halogens such as chlorine or bromine have long been used in plastic housings and printed circuit boards. They pollute the environment and make recycling more difficult. That is why we are working on innovative materials and manufacturing processes to be able to dispense with these substances.

Innovation
Innovation is the driving force behind our sustainable progress. We continuously invest in research and development - with measurable success: more than 120 registered patents are proof of Insta's innovative strength and focus on technologically sustainable solutions.
Under Sustainable Development Goal 9 (SDG), the United Nations summarises measures to promote resilient infrastructure, sustainable industrialisation and continuous innovation. It is important to us that our innovation work makes a direct contribution to achieving SDG 9 for sustainable development.

REACh und RoHS 2
A central component of our responsibility is compliance with the REACh Regulation (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) and the RoHS 2 Directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances). We ensure that all our products are REACh and RoHS 2 compliant and therefore fulfil the European requirements for the safe and sustainable handling of substances and materials.
We have obligated our suppliers to deliver only REACh and RoHS 2 compliant materials and components. Since 2025, we have also been checking this compliance via the IntegrityNext platform to ensure transparency and traceability throughout the entire supply chain.
In addition, we check all electronic components quarterly via the SVHC list.
