DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) is a digital control protocol for lighting control in architecture. The DALI protocol enables the individual control of luminaires and is often combined with building control systems such as KNX as a subordinate independent system. With DALI Color Control, the colour values of luminaires can be controlled in addition to brightness.
With the KNX Gateway, Insta GmbH has developed a product for SIEGENIA through which motorized drives for windows and entrance doors communicate directly on the digital bus. This ensures both control and status feedback via the KNX system and straightforward KNX integration through the ETS configuration software.
With the new DALI Gateway Colour, complex dynamic light scenes can be realised in the simplest way via DALI Colour Control.
For commissioning and setting up the dynamic light scenes, Insta specially developed an Device Configuration App (DCA) as an extension of the ETS6/ETS5.
