Reappointed to the Top 100 list
Insta is one of the most innovative companies in Germany
In 2021, Insta belongs yet once again to one of the 100 most innovative companies in Germany and this for the third time, following the years 2018 and 2019. As a business-to-business service specialist for the development of electronic solutions and their economic production, we have been able to achieve a special position amongst the companies that have been honoured in this way. Insta’s inventions are successfully credited with more than twenty patents every year; for a company of this size, this is truly a remarkable achievement and a credible substantiation for the position within the Top 100.
Appraisal in accordance with scientific procedures
The appointment to the Top 100 list is based on a scientific procedure designed by Austrian innovation researcher Professor Nikolaus Franke and his team from the "Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation" at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. This underlines as to what extent innovation plays being a prevalent factor at Insta and at the same time shows that its corporate culture is an integral part of this strategic process. The mentor of the selection process is the science author Ranga Yogeshwar.
Insta is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and can refer to its distinctive research and development characteristic throughout its life. You may rightly ask what is so special about us: Not only are we proficient in the development of electronic components for business customers, but also in the economic production of state-of-the-art facilities which cater for a wide range of quantities even from the smallest of batch sizes. It was no coincidence that the founding of our company 50 years ago coincided with the entry of electronics into the world of household appliances - at this point in time, Insta had developed the electronic dimmer for light switches. Today, we work for a wide range of companies in a variety of sectors, including home and building technology industries, mechanical engineering, consumer goods and retail, as well as solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT).
