What you can look forward to

In your training as an industrial clerk EU, we try to give you as comprehensive an insight as possible into our processes to better understand these processes, you will initially gain insights into production, logistics, quality control, IT, and production control. This will ultimately give you a better understanding of the processes in the commercial departments. Your practical training will be complemented by block lessons at vocational school, preparing you perfectly for your final exams.

A highlight of your apprenticeship is the several-week stay abroad in Ireland, which is funded by Erasmus and organised by the vocational school. There you will live with a host family and complete an internship to bring your English skills to the next level.

We achieve an optimised coordination between Insta and the vocational school through training at the Eugen-Schmalenbach-Berufskolleg in Halver-Ostendorf.

The apprenticeship usually lasts for three years. However, with good performance during the apprenticeship, it can be shortened by six months.

 

 

 

Dual study + Apprenticeship = flexible combination

In addition, we offer you the opportunity to complement your apprenticeship with a dual study program, so that after completing your apprenticeship, you will have not only one, but two degrees in your pocket! You will complement your vocational qualification with a bachelor's degree.

We offer the following combined courses of study in combination with training as an industrial clerk EU (m/f/d):

  • Business Administration (B.A.) at Bochum University of Applied Sciences
    This degree programme focuses on general business knowledge before you can choose a specialisation in marketing management, accounting/controlling or logistics/supply chain management. In this way, you will learn technical skills in business administration as well as analytical, methodical and social skills.
  • Electrical engineering (B.Eng.) at the University of Applied Sciences Südwestfalen in Hagen: In this degree programme you will deal with all processes that generate or transmit electricity. You will be taught mathematical and scientific basics and the fundamentals of electrical engineering and computer science. During your studies you will encounter subjects such as mathematics, physics, and computer science.
  • Industrial Engineering (B.Sc.) at the University of Applied Sciences Südwestfalen in Hagen: In this degree programme, the technical and scientific aspects of engineering are combined with the economic and legal aspects of economics. Here you focus on mechanical or electrical engineering.
