LED driver with Zigbee 3.0 compatibility
With the Smart PUK, a new generation of the LED driver integrated in Plug & Light is available, via which luminaires can be switched and dimmed by commands of the Zigbee 3.0 radio standard. The Smart PUK expands Plug & Light with the following functions:
> Networking with Zigbee components
The Smart PUK has a radio connection compatible with the Zigbee 3.0 standard, which allows integration into Zigbee networks. It can thus be controlled via Zigbee transmitters and Zigbee gateways from various manufacturers.
> Control via end devices
The Smart PUK can also be controlled via end devices such as smartphones and tablets. The prerequisite for this is a Zigbee gateway integrated into the Zigbee network, which communicates between the Smart PUK and the end device.
> Commissioning, parameter setting and updating via mobile app
Luminaires equipped with the Smart PUK are simply put into operation via Bluetooth using a mobile app. In addition, parameters such as the switch-on brightness or minimum brightness of a luminaire can be set via this app. Updates for future function extensions are also possible.
A powerful combination
Light socket
The light socket is the solid fundament on which Plug & Light stands. Along with a flush-mounted power supply unit, a cover uses magnetic contact rings that ensure a secure 12 V extra-low voltage for Plug & Light’s luminaires. The central plate’s design can be chosen freely by contacting any of our Plug & Light partners.
PUK & Smart PUK
The key component of Plug & Light’s system is the PUK which can be easily integrated into luminaire housings. The Smart PUK also has a highly intelligent and extremely compact radio module and is the nexus between the luminaire and the Smart Home. The Smart PUK can be connected to an existing Zigbee network by means of a Bluetooth app.
LED board
Alternatively, the range also provides for customer-specific LED circuit boards and matching optics for light control; everything is therefore technically and perfectly balanced with one another.
Simple and safe ceiling attachment.
The Plug & Light light socket with bayonet can carry ceiling and pendant luminaires weighing up to 1.5 kilograms and hold them securely With the optional baldachin, surface mounting is also possible without any problems.
