Insta startet mit neun Azubis in ein Rekord-Ausbildungsjahr

So viele Auszubildende gab es bei Insta noch nie!
Mit Stolz konnten wir am 1. August neun junge Menschen zu Ihrem Start in das Ausbildungsjahr 2018 bei uns empfangen.
Am Morgen begrüßten Alexander Burgbacher (Geschäftsführung), Sebastian Zimkowski (Head of Human Resources), Ramona Plötz (Ausbildungsbeauftragte) sowie der Betriebsrat die Rekordzahl an Nachwuchskräften persönlich. Gleichzeitig hatten die Azubis Gelegenheit, die Jugendausbildungsvertretung (JAV) und die Auszubildenden der anderen Jahrgänge kennenzulernen.

Insta ranks among TOP 100 innovation leaders in Germany
On Friday, 29 June, the 25th TOP 100 competition in Ludwigsburg named Germany's most innovative medium-sized companies. Prizewinners also included Insta this year. Our two managing directors Alexander Burgbacher and Jeroen Rijswijk as well as the leader of innovations Dr. Stefan Neuhaus proudly accepted the award from TOP 100 mentor Ranga Yogeshwar.

Insta awarded for successful agile transformation
Insta has successfully completed the transition towards agile product development. In April 2018, Insta was awarded 2nd place at the F&E Performance Award presented by the management consultancy Axel Schröder & Partner (AS&P) in Munich.
AS&P have supported Insta on the path to agile product development since May 2017 and used their own points system to score the quality of the transformation. In the end, Insta came a very close second, scoring only 0.19 points less than an Austrian manufacturer for heavy agricultural machinery.

Insta welcomes new member to management team
Following the departure of Dr. Herbert Schliffke as Managing Director of Insta GmbH in August 2016, the executive team is back to full strength with two managing directors.
For the last year and a half, Alexander Burgbacher has single-handedly headed up the business operations at Insta GmbH. In April 2018, he was joined by Jeroen Rijswijk. Mr Rijswijk's previous position was at Osram as Head of European Portfolio for Electronic Components.

The German Lighting Design Prize 2018 was awarded in Cologne on May 17, 2018. With the Archiepiscopal Vocational College in Cologne, a project that was equipped with linear lighting solutions from Insta, among other things, is one of the prizewinners.

Plug & Light wins the Architecture+ Technology 2018 Innovation Award
Plug & Light is outstanding. This is what the jury found on March 18, 2018, when it awarded the Architecture + Technology Innovation Prize of the competition organised by the trade journals AIT and xia intelligente architektur to the light socket. The winners were celebrated and the trophies presented at a special exhibition at Light + Building (Hall 3.0, Stand C20).

Individualisation through light in the St. Petrikirche in Soest
The romanesque-gothic St. Petrikirche is the oldest parish church in Soest. Since the end of 2016 the historical architecture of the church is highlighted by a modern illumination concept. By means of controllable LED solutions from Insta lighting designer Maximilian Piltz creates an outstanding atmosphere inside of the historical sacred building.

Lippe Bridge in Lünen illuminated fully with LEDs
The new Lippe Bridge was opened in Lünen in the spring of 2016. At night, the architecturally impressive structure is fully lit with LED technology from Insta. The compact design of the lights employed increase the aesthetics of the structure at night, without the technology being visible during the day.

RheinEnergieSTADION shines in red and white
Since the end of 2016, 4,200 metres of LED technology from Insta have been producing an amazing long-distance effect on the pylons of the RheinEnergieSTADION in Cologne. The World Cup capacity stadium opened in 2004 and was recently subjected to some modernisation measures after more than ten years of intensive use. Since that time, modern LED lighting technology from the Sauerland has ensured a particularly sustainable change.

Self-illuminating glass on the Nestlé Competence Center
The end of 2015 saw, as part of the third construction segment and the implementation of the Campus Nestlé, the completion of the new Competence Center at the central location, the Campusplatz on Lyoner Strasse in Frankfurt. Multiple installations with linear LED light inserts from the LEDLUX product portfolio are responsible for the impressive appearance of the building at night.

Golden roof at Gummersbach Central Bus Station
As part of the urban planning restructuring of the Steinmüller-Areal, an 18 ha piece of industrial wasteland, for the "Regionale 2010" regional plan, a new central bus station (ZOB) was created in Gummersbach at the end of 2015. The impressive night-time effect of the structure was planned by Prof Stefan Hofmann of Lichtwerke GmbH in Cologne, using, amongst other things, LED light components from Insta.

Light animation at the entrance to the Mall of Scandinavia
A total sales' area of 101,000 square metres and 224 shops make the Mall of Scandinavia a superlative shopping centre. Since November 2015, around 1,200 linear floor and ceiling luminaires with LEDLUX technology from Insta have illuminated the entrance to the mall, which is one of the largest shopping centres in Sweden.

NS Documentation Centre with Light from Lüdenscheid
Approximately 7,500 LEDLUX LN plane type lighting inserts are providing for the even and yet economical back lighting of the information panels at the NS Documentation Centre in Munich. The Documentation Centre opened to a celebratory fanfare at the end of April 2015, and welcomed its 100,000th visitor just two and a half months later. The exhibition is to be found in a cubic, seven-storey structure made from white exposed concrete which has been built on the plot that was once home to the party headquarters of the NSDAP in Munich.
