Compliance with the ROHS directive
RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances, which restricts the use of certain hazardous substances. The RoHS directive aims to minimise the spread of hazardous substances into the environment. This is an EU directive, and compliance with the directive is a requirement to affix the CE mark (Declaration of Conformity) on the respective devices and distribute them. We comply with the requirements of the RoHS directive by using only RoHS-compliant materials and substances in our products.
Soldering according to IPC
IPC (Association Connecting Electronics Industries) is a globally recognized organisation that deals with standardisation in electronics manufacturing. Through industry standards and criteria, requirements for printed circuit boards and soldering in electronics are defined, among other things. At Insta, we manufacture according to IPC-A-610 Class 2: "Electronics products for higher performance (Dedicated Service Electronic Products)," ensuring that you can rely on the appropriate quality and reliability class for the production of your parts in our facility, while adhering to and monitoring the standard.
We are staufen best practice partner and founding member of the KNX association
We are a certified partner company of Staufen AG and, as such, qualified as the organizer of the BestPractice Circle. Several times a year, we welcome interested companies to our facility who want to gain insights into our lean management and lean production. We would be delighted to welcome you to our manufacturing site and introduce you to our methods.
KNX is the globally recognised standard for intelligent networking in buildings with a bus system. For Insta, KNX has long been a focus of development. Not only do we have over 30 years of experience, but we have also developed every 10th KNX product on the market. Insta is the first company in the world with a certified KNX Data Secure Stack (TP & RF).
